Our Mission
L & D Knockout Cancer Foundation is to improve the lives of people with cancer and their families through advocacy, research, and patient support, to ensure everyone has an opportunity to prevent, detect, treat, and survive cancer.
Our History
The L & D Knockout Cancer Foundation was started December 1, 2021, by family members of Ledora Bogan and Danielle Thomas. Ledora Bogan was diagnosed with brain cancer during infancy. Danielle Thomas was diagnosed with thymus cancer and myasthenia gravis at age 21. Despite their diagnoses and struggles with cancer, Ledora and Danielle set out and achieved goals others would dream of. It is with great pleasure that we honor our dear loved ones by way of establishing this foundation and making contributions, be a blessing to other children and their families, put smiles on the children’s faces, and show the love of God for his marvelous work and continued blessings upon us all.
Our Goals
Our goal is to be a blessing to people all over the world. To provide funding to researchers who focus on therapies for advanced stage cancer patients in order to bring light to the best comprehensive balance for optimal survival.
